Combinations of the protection systems
Combination of the protection systems is used where only separated protection system would be insufficient or where the protection system cannot be used alone without being combined with other way of protection.
Explosion venting ANTIDET RELIEF with flame extinguishing (chemical or HRD barrier) ANTIDET BARRIER
- Used where flame propagation can occur in pipelines connecting devices protected only by explosion venting.
Explosion venting ANTIDET RELIEF with flame and pressure isolation ANTIDET DUMPER
- Used where flame and pressure propagation can occur in the pipelines connecting devices protected only by explosion venting or not secured at all and where the pressure stroke spreading through the pipeline can harm humans in the range of explosion (i.e.: industry vacuum systems with stabile pipelines).
Explosion suppression ANTIDET SUPPRESSOR with flame and pressure isolation ANTIDET DUMPER
- Used where the explosion propagation cannot be prevented by the suppresion system (if the action element cannot be placed near the beginning of the pipeline) or if the explosion suppression system is not designed also for the explosion isolation.
Do not forget that only explosion venting without elimination of the risk of explosion propagation to the connected devices is insufficient!
