Chemical explosion propagation protection system

Chemical barrier protection system is also known as HRD - High Rate Discharge - Barrier.
In the case of explosion and it's propagation through the pipeline, it's optical or pressure effects are detected by the sensors and the extinguish agent is sprayed into the pipeline, which will extinguish the flame of the explosion. This is how the explosion propagating through the pipeline is stopped.
System for extinguishing the flame in the pipeline (also known as HRD barrier) consists of optical and/or pressure detector, control unit and action element(s) with the extinguish agent.
